The CPF validator checks if a number follows the official algorithm established by the Brazilian Federal Revenue. This tool is useful for:

  • Companies that need to validate customer CPFs
  • Developers implementing validation in their systems
  • Individuals who want to verify the validity of a CPF

The validation only checks if the number follows the correct algorithm, not if the CPF is active with the Federal Revenue or belongs to a specific person.

Common invalid CPFs

Some CPF numbers are automatically considered invalid, even if they pass the verification algorithm:

  • CPFs with all digits the same (e.g., 111.111.111-11)
  • CPFs with incorrect format
  • CPFs with incorrect number of digits

Did you know?

There are only 11 CPFs with all digits the same (000.000.000-00 to 999.999.999-99), and all are considered invalid by the system.
